CONCRETE PROCESSES

Abstract paintings from the historical avant-garde, long ago content-free, bereft of the revolutionary impulse under which they were conceived, now even their bidimensionality and formal purity are eroded over time, by lenghty contact with the natural and, above all, human elements.

LANDSCAPES WITH RUINS

Parallel, this suite deals with the progressive deterioration of the project that emerged in the Enlightenment and bottomed out after the dismantling of real-socialism in Europe. Around the ruins of Reason, the side effects are widely noticeable: the most prominent being the material and intellectual misery caused by the tide of history that nobody was able to contain.
